K Friese + Associates is a civil engineering consulting firm based in Austin, TX. As the sole developer of this Monkee-Boy Web Design site redesign, I built out the site's innovative designed and developed custom functionality to better highlight the firm's impact on the Texas engineering landscape. The Our Work section of the site, in particular, was built with custom geojson layers on top of the Google Maps API to indicate which regions and counties in Texas contained projects completed by the firm. This section also contains custom filtering options allowing prospective clients to easily find projects relevant to their interests.
CareZooming is a medical startup backed by the Brigham and Women's Hospital system that promotes and provides resources to better improve patient care. As the sole designer and developer of this freelanced redesign project, I worked intimately with the client stakeholders to develop a site that better reflected their vision for the company. Whereas the previous iteration of the site was static and required development assistance to update content, the redesigned site's WordPress backend allows the client to more-easily upload and edit their content without third-party help. Custom tools throughout the site also allow the client and the site's users to easily filter and find relevant content on the site.
I lead the development efforts for Monkee-Boy Web Design on the Slack Davis Sanger website redesign, a design and branding refresh for the Austin-based law firm. The site was developed in the WordPress CMS using HTML, CSS (PostCSS), JavaScript, and PHP. The site is fully responsive and makes extensive use of the Slick Slider JavaScript library to showcase the firm's services, attorneys, and awards.
My personal portfolio site! The portfolio was built with React.js using the Gatsby static site generator and is hosted on Netlify. All site styling is created using CSS modules. The portfolio's homepage makes use of the GitHub API to showcase recently updated repositories and to provide an activity feed of GitHub activities. The portfolio also features a list of personal and professional projects as well as a blog.
Budget Tracker is a full-fledged budgeting application designed to allow users to monitor their spending habits. Create an unlimited amount of spending categories to provide a granularized view of where your money is going. Interactive charts allow you to track your overall and categorial spending on a month-to-month basis.
As the lead developer for Monkee-Boy Web Design on the Lone Star Circle of Care site redesign, I made use of the WordPress CMS and utilized HTML, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP to build a site to the client's requirements. The site is fully responsive and accessible and features robust filtering tools for the clinic's locations and providers. Clinics can be filtered by city and service, both in map and list views, and providers can be filtered by clinic location, service, and languages spoken. The site also has custom built mega menus that highlight recent blog posts and CTAs.

Caritas of Austin is a local non-profit that provides services for Austin's homeless population. As lead developer on this Monkee-Boy Web Design project, I oversaw the site's build out from the design stage through launch. As lead developer for the redesign of the Madison Springfield, Inc. site, I worked intimately with Monkee-Boy Web Design's design department to create an experience that showcases Madison Springfield's expertise in their field. The site is fully responsive and utilizes HTML5 geolocation to suggest contact locations closest to the user. It also makes extensive use of D3.js and custom-built backend tools to associate current and past projects with their geographic locations.
